My son is 29 months and he has his development check coming up.
He was born 6 weeks prem so is small compared to other kids his age but healthy.
He has only really started to speak and copy words over the past 4/5 months after going to a childminder. He was at nursery before but we had to take him out when we had our 2nd son.
He's really thrived at the CM and is spot on with milestones but his speech isn't very clear. The CM said I should mention it as it's her only area of concern.
Some words are very clear and he does sometimes use up to 4 words in a sentence.
Has anyone been referred/any action taken following a dec check? Just curious as to what they might say
