I'm really a teigglignw it's my 2.5 year olds tantrums.
When he's unwell his behaviour turns and it takes a while after to recover.
He has a fever about ten days ago and ever since then he's just been out of control. He's not unwell at all, maybe it's a conincidence 🤷🏼‍♀️
He has a SAL delay but I am seeing improvements with his talking, just slow progress.
He has been through a a horrible hitting phase which now seems to be mainly replaced with massive tantrums. If something is on the floor mid tantrum he'll launch it.
He breakdown when... he's getting changed, teeth brushed, bath, nappy, I leave the room, he has to share... the list goes on!
I feel so overwhelmed and stressed right now. I can't talk to him about his feelings as he doesn't understand :(
Is anyone else won the trenches on the terrible twos?

It's probably related to the SLT delay. Is he seeing a SLT therapist? Are you getting any other support?

He's on the salt waiting list which I'm told is 9 months.
I'm a single support and have very limited support :(

9 months is a long time. Are you in the UK? Is your HV offering any support?

Sometimes they run groups by invitation for toddlers and preschoolers that are struggling with SLT.

Have you tried Makati with him? They're the signs that Mr Tumble uses. He Milford be able to express himself easier with signs?
