Baby screaming in high chair but only at breakfast and lunch

Well I'm back again.
Not sleep related this time, thankfully some good advice I received on my last thread has started to work WONDERS.
Which is why I'm back with a new problem.
Ever since having strep A about two weeks ago (now recovered), my 11 month old has been screaming holy hell when placed in the high chair morning and midday for breakfast/lunch. He refuses to eat, he just blubbers his little heart out.
But for dinner, he sits quite happily and eats the whole lot and then some (probably because he's starving by then).
I am scratching my head with it all to be honest. I've ordered a new high chair just in case this one has become uncomfortable for him but I really doubt that...it's a nice high chair and he hasn't had a problem with it since the strep.
He's finished two rounds of antibiotics and seems symptom free as far as I can tell...so I just don't understand why he won't eat in there. He WILL eat in his walker but it's not really a habit I want to encourage going forward.
Any help appreciated :)

Ha, I remember my DD done this and I ended up ordering 2 different high chairs thinking the same 😂 didn’t make a blind bit of difference!

Turns out she actually had oral thrush. Antibiotics can cause it, might be worth looking into it? I know he eats dinner fine but could be because he’s super hungry by that point.
