I am after some much needed advice.
my 1 year old daughter is suffering from extreme seperation anxiety to the point where we have had to terminate care with our childminder as she just couldn’t give my daughter the attention she was needing.
the behaviour my daughter was showing at the childminder was completely different to how she behaves at home, to the point where the childminder was unable to put my daughter down as she would be screaming until she was picked up again. If any of the other children came near her she would scream louder but I can honestly say she is not like that when she is with me or my partner and is a very social child.
I am now at a list of what to do with regard to childcare as tried another childminder and she did exactly the same so they will not take her on either.
the childminders I have seen are saying she needs 1-1 care but I just cannot afford this so at the moment my only option is nursery but I am concerned that this will make the behaviours worse and cause extreme distress to my daughter but I need to work to pay the bills
any advise would be greatly appreciated or if anyone has been through or going through this.
