Struggling with my 2 year old :(

Hello :)
I am the mum of a beautiful 2 and a half year old daughter, she absolutely loves trains, bing bunny solving puzzles and lots of pokemon.
For the most part she's a happy little girl, she loves signing (or atleast trying to, she just babbles along to the melody) and spinning around all of the time. But when she's upset it is such a nightmare; whenever she tantrums they seem to last for no less than an hour, we try to comfort her but she just attacks us and/or herself but if we try to move away she cries even harder. Throws herself on the floor and bangs her head and if we try to talk to her it just seems to make her worse. I'm not sure how to cope with this, we've tried a lot of different methods and none of them seem to be working.
She also screams at strangers and throws herself on the floor in a tantrum if they even smile at her which is so embarrassing haha.
Our health visitor just keeps saying that it's a phase but it's been going on for quite a long time
i've been looking into autism for a short while as my partner (her dad) is autistic and I know it can be genetic but I'm not sure if that's a bit far fetched or not.

Anybody else have a toddler they struggle with daily? 😅

If you are concerned about ASD, and you know her DF has it, personally I'd skip HV if she isn't being helpful and book an appointment with the GP and ask for an assessment with a Paediatrician.
