Hi. Just looking for advice

3 year old cracked potty training a few months ago and did really well. The odd accident at nursery but at home took himself to toilet and has been doing great
since last week he did a pee on the couch when playing a game and since then 3 more accidents on couch and at nursery intentially stood and peed himself.

he woke up this morning with high fever and did a pee on the couch. Didn’t seem to know he had did it.

how do I go about dealing with this ?

he was fine last week when peeing on the couch. We’ve spoken to him and told him how dirty this is which he seems to understand
because a big brother back in June and his behaviour did change slightly but the potty training commenced in September and like I said, did brilliantly.
I feel totally at a loss on how to deal with this.
any advice.

thanks

Is he still poorly @Letsbekindplease?

We had a couple of regressions with DS when he was poorly. They were just blips though and he was fine afterwards.

I wouldn’t say he’s 100%. He has a cold/cough, but temperature is away. He has no accidents at all yesterday. I went back to rewarding him going to toilet which maybe I’ve not done the right thing there, but seemed to work lol.
he wasn’t unwell last week and had 2 accidents but on those occasions he was playing on his dads tablet and also watching the tv so maybe just been totally engrossed in that? My couch is a mess. Didn’t help that dad sprayed something on it which made it worse.
hoping he continues to be good and use the toilet again
