Baby is 10 weeks old. He's never fallen asleep independently (which I think is normal). He has to be rocked to sleep every night. We're up at least 3 times a night with him.
Goes down at about 9.30 (we try from 8 ish to get him to sleep but have many false starts). Annoyingly he won't take much milk then (I'm BF).
Then he's up at 11/11.30. I'll breastfeed him again then and he will take more.
Then up at 1/2. Then again at 3/4. Then maybe 5/6. Each time he is fed.
Am I putting a rod in my own back for feeding him each time? Is he expecting it now? Should I not feed him each time?
He refuses a dummy. We have white noise on all night. He will only sleep on his front. He is in a sleeping bag rather than swaddle.
I'm a FTM so would appreciate any insight from mums in a similar situation.
