18 month old - not walking or talking much

Hi everyone,
Looking for some advice.
My youngest child is still not walking despite cruising for a while and walking a little bit if holding our hands.
He also has only 5 words or so and they are not very clear at all.
This is completely new territory for us - our eldest was v verbal and very mobile early on.
Does this sound like a wait and see scenario or should I contact someone? Slightly terrified about contacting someone as I suppose I hoped he would just catch up but it hasn't happened yet :(

If she's cruising but not walking it could happen soon but I think it's worth asking the HV to assess her using the ages and stages.

I'd also ask for a hearing test, just to rule out glue ear as that can affect speech.

This progress checker from Talking Point might be useful too although like I said, things like glue ear can affect speech.
