My 4 week old daughter has been struggling with gas an colic. Her gas pains bother her to the point that she’s isn’t feeding properly. She’ll be on the breast for a couple minutes at a time before tensing/ arching her back while she pulls away crying. I’ll burp her and try again and again but she gets so frustrated that eventually she starts to struggle latching at all. It’s breaking my heart.
This morning she has went 6 hours without feeding properly because of this and I know that can’t be good for her. I don’t know what to do. I have asked my health visitor about it but she didn’t seem to have any advice. Should I take her to the GP? Has anyone had this happen with their baby.
