5 year old son faking illness

So I have a 5 year old son. Complains of tummy ache at school but not at home. Has been sick at home twice in 1 week but completely fine afterwards.

He has been refusing to go into school too.

He says he plays with no one at school, dislikes the noise in the food hall and crowds of people.

He has only recently learned to walk down the stairs at home, he is anxious on play equipment and taking risks.

He is a fussyish eater, eats a range of food but not when there mixed, eg. Stews, sauces etc.

Decision making is difficult for him and he can get angry quickly. Shouting, banging stair gates, shaking and snarling/roaring at me. Recently slapping us on the bum for example, in a playful/rough way.

Any advice welcome, I'm lost.

He has a lot going on there @Picklebob123

Slow development of gross motor skills, reaction to noise, fussy eating and not really coping in social environments could all indicate that there's more going on? I'm not trained but I think you might get best reading up on ASD and perhaps asking the school to refer him to Caudwell Children for assessment.

Like o say though I'm not trained so could be way off the mark. You might get some better opinions if you ask in the SN section for advice on what could be going on Flowers
