Favourite books for a 2 year old?

Looking to get a few books for my soon to be 2 year old for his birthday and I'm just after some ideas of ones that go down well with your 2 year olds please!

Also do you still get board books at this age or hardbacks instead?

Hug by Jez Alborough is worth a look at too

My twins have just turned two and they love:

• all the Julia Donaldson books (they do a gorgeous collection)
• Supertato series
• A personalised book we got them where they can see themselves
• I thought I saw a dinosaur
• paddington bear

they are paperbacks rather than board books but they do enjoy the interactive board books (I’ve found felt flaps last longer than paper flaps!)
