Hi I’m just wondering if anyone knew more about toddler hearing tests and what this could mean for us. Ds is suspected asd which can affect results obviously but he didn’t respond to a single sound during the test even when they just sat so it was the only stimulation. They done a second test that showed no congestion and his ear drums moving but besides that we’ve just to come back and do it again in a few months?
Is he just ignoring them? He doesn’t react to sound alone at home, hence the test, passed newborn hearing as far as I can remember. We couldn’t redo the newborn style test as he wouldn’t sit still enough.
