Is it 'normal' to repeatedly dive face first into the sofa

My daughter (6yo) enjoys doing this. She is a big sensory seeker. Always moving, cartwheels etc.

But to position a cushion on a sofa and just face plant it repeatedly with no hands to cushion the blow?

Is that odd for a 6 year old? Or just a normal part of being an eccentric child?

I’m nearly 50 and I can remember doing that as a kid! 😂 not sure at what age though but I remember us all laughing at my younger sibling doing it too. Family entertainment was different back then though, we didn’t have endless kids tv.

Its just a funny thing to do, it’s a funny sensation banging your face down, but no risk of hurting yourself.

Maybe it's because we very rarely put the TV on. She's having to resort to old school entertainment 😆

She will have amazing fun with an old quality street tin full of random buttons then 🤣
