Have you got a baby between 1 day and 3 months old? Would you be willing to allow me to do an infant observation for 1h per week for 30 weeks?
I am taking a Masters in Play Therapy at Roehampton University which is a professional qualification that will allow me to practise as a Play Therapist in the UK.
Infant observation is an essential requirement to complete my course.
These observations will help me to understand a range of developmental theories and, consequently, make it possible for me to help children in the future.
All observations are strictly anonymous and there is no interaction or contact between me and the baby. The baby will remain in the supervision of their mother/carer at all times. There will be a letter from the University explaining the process in detail and reassuring parents. I also have a recent DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) to show parents.
