Recently my daughter (23 months) has started hitting, kicking, punching, and being very violent towards me and her dad. When we tell her off she throws herself on the floor and hits her head on the floor until she hurts herself and then asks for a cuddle. She’s also become very clingy for me which is unusual for her, when I say I don’t spend a minute without her having physical contact with me I’m not joking, and if I need to eat/go to the toilet/shower she screams at me until I’m done. I’m at a loss as what to do, I’ve tried everything I can possibly think of as my previous job was a Nursery Practitioner I’ve tried sitting her out, leaving her on her own, ignoring her etc, but her behaviour hasn’t changed at all. If anyone has any tips or tricks please let me know I’m at my whits end, I’m trying my best but I don’t know what to do anymore.
