Weaning

My 6 month old is a little behind with his sitting skills. He has a large head 😂 He is very slouched in the Stokke high chair even with the straps. I don't feel like it is safe (or comfortable) for him to eat in it.
Shall I delay weaning by a couple/few weeks and keep working on sitting/tummy time/neck strength. Or maybe invest in a more supportive high chair?
(He's a big boy drinking a great amount so weight is not a concern here)

I see no one responded so thought I'd pop on here and give you some reassurance that yes, it totally fine to wait a few weeks – they barely actually swallow anything to start anyway. I don't think mine really properly ate anything until around eight or nine months old.

Have you looked at Cushi Tush chairs? Very helpful in supporting sitting up position for those little ones whose core muscles aren’t quite strong enough yet
