Hi,
I write this at 6am on the second week of my little one waking every hour and then refusing to sleep between 4am and 6am. He’s breastfed and having six solid meals a day.
I’ve got emotional whiplash from these last two weeks as he slept through ok before. Then he to role, was teething and got a cold all at once and started this waking. Now he’s healthy again and the waking is at the exact same times every night, I think we are into habit territory…. How to break it?
Wondering whether to offer the bottle instead of boob, and then just water instead of milk. Will that work?
So torn on whether to go through this painful process to get him sleeping through, or whether this is something that will right itself. I have lots of friends with older bf babies like mine who bf them to sleep like I do because it’s easier, but their kids are more than a year old and still waking…
Advice on effective (gentle) techniques appreciated!
thanks!
