Does anyone have any advice on how to interact with Social Services following a Section 47 report based on a lie the child has told about one parent who seems to be coerced by the other parent?

Social services have taken the children to live with the parent possibly coercing the children until the false allegation is investigated. Howver after 2 months they have not presented a shred of evidence to support the claim and the children have not been seen by mum in all that time either. As a male friend I'm really struggling with this and feel completely helpless. Any other women here experienced this?
