Hi everyone,
My 7.5 month old seems to be meeting his milestones for the most part, but there is one thing that worries me. He is not inclined to roll over. When lying on the couch I have seen him rotate his body to either side to grab something to his upper left or right, but it's not a full roll. I don't think I have ever seen him fully roll over from back to belly or vice versa.
He is sitting up on his own comfortably, can make his way around in his walker, can kick both legs and arms with ease. He is very good at tummy time and can hold his neck up high. He is able to move himself backwards and in a 360 degree circle while doing tummy time and He can do press ups to beat the band,! He is babbling and engaging also.
Could it be that he is simply not that interested in rolling? I came across a tiktok video last night that said it was a concern if a child wasn't rolling by now, and it has set me off worrying.
I seem to remember that my now 3 year year old was the same way, but I'm not entirely sure about that. She is perfect now.
