Coule be an ear infection? Does the ear look red or inflamed inside? I'd take her to the docs, he can easily rule it out if it is not.

or could be teething as mine does this and pulls the ear of what ever side she is tething on or as above ear infection !

spottyzebra · 23/01/2008 15:55

hi, thanks for the replies
no redness in her ear, no high temp and seems happy and well, do you think i should still get her checked over by the doctor?
it could be teething as she now has two teeth.

My DS pulls his ears as a sign of teething, sometimes he does it so vigorously I am sure he may pull it off completely!

DS3 does this - he's 11m and teething. Prety sure it's not anything to worry about if they are otherwise fine

My DD has pulled at her right ear for months now, it seems to be a comfort thing for her. She does it all the time. If there is no signs of infection I wouldn't worry about it and its quite cute anyway

flowerybeanbag · 23/01/2008 16:10

DS 8mo does it sometimes, usually when he's tired.
