Hey,
just wanted some advice from other parents on here … (defo not gloating) my 3 month old has slept through the night since around 2 months old ( around 10pm going down and waking up at 7). He also naps well in the day and will only really be awake for max 2 hours then going down for a 30/40 minute nap.he will also tend to have one super long nap in the day of around 2 hours. His a super alert and happy baby and we do a lot of tummy time and activities with him. But I’ve recently had a lot of comments from friends and family who think my son is sleeping too much , do I need to be concerned ?

I wouldn’t be concerned as long as drinking plenty and having wet and dirty nappies. If during the wake hours he’s alert, playing and hitting all developmental milestones it’s a positive. My friends baby sleeps well and always has done since birth, every baby is different.
my baby is only 5 weeks old but in the first week she slept through the night nearly 5 hours, I woke up and then woke her up, when I spoke with my midwife to check whether to wake her she said as long as having 8-10 feeds in 24 hours and having plenty of nappies it’s a benefit for me as I can then sleep.

any worries with his wake periods or think he’s being lathergic ask your health visitor they can always advise!
