I feel like I'm a shit mum half the time atm. Keep seeing all my friends children being dead adventurous with their food and mine eats a diet of apples, yogurts, bananas, toast, crackers, sausage rolls and Pom bears.. I offer her so much variety and she just retches the second it goes in her mouth. Is this a phase? Will it pass?

She used to eat so much different things. She used to basically have what we ate with no fussiness. Sometimes she does surprise us and suddenly eat something unusual and love it. But then the next time we offer, it's a no again and she's upset by the offer. God it's tough.

I don't want to not offer alternatives after trying btw, I won't want to make something already stressful more stressful and make mealtimes unpleasant for her.

Just kind of what to see if there's light at the end of the tunnel?

What does she eat then? What do you call plain dry food? a piece of chicken breast or snacky food?
