as if her (pre) school teacher (she got 3 - 1 her school teacher and 2 assisting teachers) say to her "good morning" she hides behind my legs and wont look at them!! . I told her teacher adn she said that she knows that my dd is def not shy

She told me that she is pretending to be shy!!!

Her older sister who is nearly 9 and lives with her mum is very shy as she used to be very painfully shy till she was about 7 now she is 8 and is 9 next march she is starting to come out of her shell slowly as she joined Ballet

Do i ignore my DD about this pretend shyness at school????

I think it's quite a natural thing for them to do at this age; I know my dd ( 3) used to do it a lot.

My dd1 (2.6) is currently going through a phase of being "shy from mine daddy!!).
I repeat again (as I do every week for something new). "It's just a phase"
