Does anyone have any ideas how to get my 2 year old to sleep longer? He use to sleep lovely from 7pm till 7am, Recently he's been waking earlier and earlier, we've cut his daytime nap down from 1 1/2 hours to 45 mins now, which has really helped him going to sleep at 7pm, but he was then waking at 5 - 5.30 am, so over the past week we've cut out his daytime nap altogether, but he now wakes up at 4.30am and will not go back to sleep. Can't understand this. Also, tried putting him to bed later between 7.30 - 8.30pm but this also results in waking early. should i carry on for another week or so with cutting out daytime nap, he is tired all day, how long does it take for there body clock to adjust to the new routine? Any suggestions? Thanks
