Toe walking Help

My 21 month old son woke up yesterday and after 8 months of regular walking he was toe walking all day and again today. I am really worried. I was already concerned he had a speech delay so this has driven my anxiety through the roof. I have no other concerns about his communication etc but i am just so confused as to why he just woke up yesterday and started walking differently. I know I will have to get this checked out but I’m looking for some reassurance.. did anyone have this when it didn’t turn out to be ASD?

Both my boys have done this! My 21 month old started doing it last week - I think it’s a new skill he’s working on (as well as walking backwards and upright on his knees!) I’m not worried as my eldest (now 4) did the same thing and all my anxiety was unfounded. I’m sure it’s nothing for you to
worry about either ❤️

Thanks, that’s good to hear. His speech just started improving and then this happened. There’s always something to worry about! I really hope it’s just a phase.
