How much/ often does your 6 year old cry?

I've recently realised that there has never been a day (since she was born) that my 6 year old hasn't cried. She will cry multiple times a day, full blown proper tears and noisy wailing.
Is this also the case for others? And typical? Or atypical?

My ds has never cried everyday since about 3 but from what he says and what we’ve seen quite a few of his friends still do and they’re 8.

6yo DS will cry most days. Usually as part of a temper tantrum tbh in response to me asking him to do something (eg. Brush your teeth, tidy up). I do think he is much more emotional than others - he is also pretty grumpy at times! He saves it all for us though and is pretty stable and happy when he's at school thankfully so I figure it's him offloading.

Yeah my DS6 cries at least 3 times a day. Full blown loud crying. Usually wound up by his siblings, sometimes in frustration at not being able to do things, sometimes as a result of hurting himself physically.

I think boys of this age are bigger sooks than girls. My girls were very stoic and brave and self-soothing in comparison to DS.
