I'm becoming very worn down by the behaviour of my recentlybturned 1 yr old boy. I love him dearly but I'm struggling to deal.with his intense mood swing as he will dangerously throw himself fully backwards trying to push away from me when he's in a bad mood. He is going to really hurt himself and he's getting so strong there are times I can barely hold him. If I pit him down he rolls around rubbing his head and face with the backs of his hands..(..I wonder if its a matter of time before he starts hair pulling too...)
I don't know how to regulate his behaviour. He's been like this for a few months now and I'm beginning to not cope. He'll chill out a bit with his dad but will do it with him too but to a lesser extent.
It's becoming too dangerous. And such an extreme reaction to anything he mildly dislikes. Also he's started head banging a bit too....getting me very concerned.
I know they struggle to manage their emotions and I know he can't express himself but it's getting too worrying.
