I'm hoping for some advice. My baby is 3months old and is refusing bottles of my expressed milk. She took the first one fine at around 8 weeks (I wanted to try sooner but I got covid so it delayed things) but now she just doesn't take them now or only takes about an ounce VERY rarely.
My partner trys to give the bottle as I've read its best to get someone else to try so she can't smell my milk etc. He makes sure he goes upstairs and away from me but all she does is cry as soon as it touches her mouth. We have tried several different brands and also size 2 teats with no luck.
We know she knows how to take it as she's taken it before and weirdly she has taken a bottle twice off my sister with no problems.
We have tried doing it at different times of the day to see if that makes a difference but it doesn't seem to.
It's really stressing me out as I'm only planning on breast feeding til about 6 months so i want her to get to used to the bottle before then and before I'm back at at etc.
Has anyone else been in a similar situation and have any advice?
Thanks xxx
