My 19 mo DS is suddenly very upset at nursery. He is really clingy, lethargic, and getting really upset at drop off and whilst he is there.
But at home he is absolutely fine! Not clingy with me (more than normal!), maybe a little more sleepy than normal, but that’s it.
Just over a week ago we got back from a long weekend abroad with my sister and her 16 month old, and the next day at nursery DS was an absolute wreck at pick up, and each day since.
Nursery think he is poorly, but at home he is absolutely fine! Maybe a little more stroppy than normally but not clingy or upset.
Does anyone have any ideas what could be wrong? The only thing that I can think of is separation anxiety but he’s not clingy with me around the house or with his dad, which he normally would be if it was that.
