Help with potty training 3yo

Started potty training ds 3.2 on Friday. Started with him naked and he took to it really quickly. On Sunday we put on pants and after some accidents he got the idea. Yesterday he asked to use the potty every time he needed it and had zero accidents. He still needs my help getting his pants up and down which is fine.

Today he’s reverted back to peeing in his pants. When I ask him if he needs to go he just ignores me.

Any ideas how to solve this? He obviously knows how to do it as he did it yesterday so I’m not really sure how to address it.

I'd give it another day and if he's still not getting it you can either stop and put him back in his normal nappies or stick him in cloth nappies so he doesn't feel comfortable when he's wet. They're usually a great motivator

I tried to start potty training at 2 and a half. My son just wasn't getting the idea. He would go on his potty if naked but not with clothes. I took the decision to put him back in nappies. Fast forward 7 months he's now 3years 1 month and we have success we are dry through the day (minus an accident here or there) but still in nappies at night (pre school recommended we focus on day time dry first)

I would just say you know your baba better than anyone if you feel they're not ready to continue then pop back in nappies. As long as they're trained by the time they go to school as I've been told by various people school won't change nappies. You're okay. He'll manage it in his own time. (: good luck.

Also one last thing I made the mistake or training pants that are like less absorbent nappies bad move on my part as they didn't help just confused my poor son. Xx
