2.5yo won't stop repeating herself

My 2.5yo keeps repeating every sentence multiple times in a row, I always reply to her but it's SO annoying and it's starting to rub me up the wrong way. I'm so tired of hearing the same thing repeated more than 10 times.
On top of that my 4yo keeps making an "aaaa eeee ooooo" noise constantly, so between them both I just want to go and lock myself in a sensory deprivation chamber.

How do I get them to stop? They always get a response to what they say or ask, so it's quite irritating having to not only hear them repeat themselves constantly but also have to repeat myself all the time.

My almost 3yo has been doing the repeating thing for the best part of a year. If she asks us a question or makes a statement, we've realised that she won't accept one word responses and always needs us to repeat her words back to her. I’m unsure if it's to confirm we understood her but, she tends to stop repeating herself if we acknowledge her properly.

For example;

"Mummy look there's a cow"
"Oh yes, I see the cow"

Moreso, if we continue the conversation with her. E.g. "I see the cow, do you see any other animals?"

I've also noticed she asks less questions if I make sure I explain to her what is happening before/whilst it happens. They're so inquisitive at that age and I think they just want to make sure they are understanding everything properly. (They also just like to push our buttons for absolutely no reason sometimes 😂)
