Over the last few weeks it feels like my toddler DD has started whining, throwing tantrums and crying for most of the day. She is very chatty when she is happy but doesn’t yet have the vocabulary to express when she is unhappy and just resorts to flying into a rage, crying, squealing or yelling “noooooo!” Something as minor as bread being cut into the wrong shape or being given the “wrong” spoon is enough to send her into a rage. But most of the time the reason isn’t clear why she is unhappy. She gets herself into such a state that it’s a struggle to calm her down.
She is my PFB so I’m just trying to weather the storm and hope this will pass when her speech improves. Can anyone offer me any reassurance?
