(Stoopid Question Alert) Can teething cause babies to go off their food/bottles?

Already posted this in breast/bottle feeding but think that was a mistake!

My usually angelic ds has been very grumpy today and has taken very little at his last 2 feeds. Could it be sore gums? We have had drooling/fingers in mouth for weeks now but no sign of any teeth... and nearly always takes good feeds. Any experiences to share?

They're great - homeopathic, you can get em from boots, tesco etc. They have chamomilla in which is all nice and soothy. Seemed to be great for mine, but some people mutter about placebos.

I'm not entirely sure how placebos work on small babies
