My DH2 is 10 weeks. breastfeeding had been going really well (he is ebf) and he’s been gaining weight play but this last week he had covid and now he’s lost 100g in a week and the health visitor has panicked me saying this is ‘very unusual’. I knew the illness was affecting his feeding as he is tired and uninterested, but I didn’t realise it was that bad. The HV made me feel like a terrible mum and now I don’t know what to do as I cannot force him to feed when he doesn’t want to. Anyone else’s baby lost weight when unwell???! Or is it really just me?!
