When did your child stop having a daytime nap?

My ds is 3 years 10 months and will have a nap most afternoons if he's not at pre school. He won't be starting school until next year but I am conscious that by then he won't be able to nap as it will be 5 full days a week from the start.
He will happily nap in the afternoons for an hour or hour and a half. The only problem is that he then doesn't go to sleep until about 9ish sometimes. Another consideration is that he had glandular fever in December/January and has struggled since. Ds is also awaiting assessment for adhd so he does tend to have high energy but then buelrns himself out.

When did your child stop having a daytime nap? Is my son too old or should I just continue it?

My little boy is 3 and still has a 2 hour nap in the day. I'm trying to cut it out due to him starting school in sept but he gets extremely naggy if he doesn't have one ☹️

My youngest (of 5 children) turned 3 years old in June and he still naps every single day 10.30/11am - 1/1.30pm. He sleeps through the night and I can tell when he hasn’t had his nap on certain days because he’s not himself and gets over tired. It’s all about routine with him. It’s been the same since birth. To be honest he is my easiest, most laid back and calm child of them all! Ending on a high! Haha
