My ds8 really struggles with anxiety and this is a massive issue at bedtimes where he suffers severe separation anxiety from me (I'm back to sitting in a chair at the side of his bed until he's asleep and even then he's panicking that I'm not in bed with him). I've read that weighted blankets can be comforting and help ease anxiety so I started looking into them and then realised how expensive they are!!! Can anyone recommend any good ones that their dc of a similar age have used please?
