Social services/ temp Foster care advice

I've name changed for this.

To keep a very very long story short I'm really struggling with DD (8 yo) behaviour. As soon as she has to do something she doesn't want all he'll breaks loose and she's violent and trashes the house. I have a younger DD as well (1yo).

I'm asking for as much help from every service I can and we are being referred to Edge of care team that I believe will offer us intense support. The problem is this referral takes a while to come in.

in the mean time I was wondering if anyone has been in any kind of similar situation and what did you do to cope? I'm covered in bruises and mentally exhausted. Is temporary foster care an option? Can they just take older DD or would it have to be both? I'm very new to having any kind of involvement from SS and the SW I've spoken to so far has not been very helpful. Any advice would be really appreciated as I'm really struggling.

I’d avoid foster care at all costs. I have done this due to a break down and since this day it’s been a witch hunt against me. I have been spoken to like a criminal, told I’m abusive and neglectful. I now have supervised visits as a result.
my daughter wants to come home but SS are putting ip lots of barriers to this

Do you have any family that can have your older child for a while???
im not sure where you live or if there is more
to your Daughters anger but where I live there is a team called children with disabilities and they offer Residental care where your child can sleep out for a few nights at a time. They also offer to have your child for a few hours at a time so you can do nice things with your other children. I haven’t used them as I feel I’m managing ok with my disabled child but it was all Offered to me and I looked into it it seamed very good
