My 14 month old has become so overwhelmingly clingy over the last 2 weeks.
I can’t put him down or rest him on my lap without him crying like, if I’m holding him and I sit on him on lap instead of being in the air he has an absolute fit.
He won’t play with me or by himself for more than about 15 minutes before having a strop and needing a cuddle - which is fine we have lots of cuddles but this is just constant and exhausting. I can’t even pee without him screaming his head off on the floor while I pull my trousers up.
80% of his naps are on me unless we’re in the car because as soon as I put him down he’ll wake up and scream.
Any tips on dealing with this? I’m also 30 weeks pregnant and it’s in the high 20 - low 30 degrees sun the U.K. and it’s too hot for him to just be glued to me. I’m basically on the verge or tears come lunch time because he’s been on me or screaming since 5am.
