3 month hand preference

Dear Mums, hope you are all well. My first post! Has anyone had experience of their baby at 3 months showing hand preference to sucking? My baby sucks only with his left hand and is rolling on his left side! Apart from this he is using his limbs normally … should I seek help? Thank you so much

My sons both favoured one side for rolling and also for grabbing growing up but both are fine. Some asymmetry in preference can be normal (as long as function isn’t impaired) according to a physio we saw for something unrelated)

My LO was very right handed from about 4 months! Despite everywhere saying that’s impossible, they just clearly were. They’re now 4 and can use their left hand fine to support, e.g when using scissors, cutting with a knife etc. I don’t think it’s necessarily anything to worry about about but of course keep an eye in case it’s weakness in the other side, as opposed to preference to the other.
