my 7 year old dd won’t go to any other room in the house if either someone doesn’t go with her or if someone’s already no in that room. It is causing a lot of problems since I have a little baby and a 5 year old to also look after so I can’t be expected to escort her to every where she needs to go. Even going to the bathroom is a battle as she needs someone there with her. It’s been going on for a year and I don’t know how we’ve put up with it for so long. nothing dramatic has happened to warrant this etc. it’s now rubbing off on her 5 year old sibling and I need to nip it in the bud but don’t know how. I’ve tried to talk to her, I’ve tried to actively listen to her fears, so far no success.
anyone with similar experience ? Any advice ?
