Can a 12yo do her own breakfast?

Does your 12yo prepare their own b'fast? We do not have cereal, but usually, ready-made pancakes, toast with banana or rice yogurt.
I've just realised she might be capable of doing it herself, rather, go downstairs to find everything ready for her.
I will be waking together with her, as I need to drop her at school and I do not eat b'fast myself.

No but only because I like setting him off with a BIG breakfast , as he goes to a very sporty school with long days and I like to set him off knowing he has a full tummy of good food.

so this morning bowl of porridge and berries, followed by Greek yoghurt and slices of mango and a big handful of nuts.

when he does himself - it’s a bowl of cereal

Is it just you and her?

No, her younger sibling and DH are still asleep at that point.

If you don’t enjoy doing it and she’s only has a ride pudding or similar anyway - doesn’t seem like anything to lose

bit if you don’t mind doing and she has more than a ride pudding for example, seems like a nice opportunity for 10 minutes just to spend with her

that is another reason why I enjoy with my son
