Baby isn’t smiling at 12 weeks

DS was born 6weeks 5days early. He is currently 11 weeks 5 days old. However his corrected age is 5 weeks 3 days.

He is yet to smile and I’m getting worried. Do you think this is a cause for concern?

FRIENDS babies who were born 1/2 weeks before/after him are smiling and even giggling.

You always go by corrected age for development - I’m surprised no one has said this to you. So your baby is only 5 weeks 6 days old - plenty of time to smile yet
