Hi, first time poster here. My son 12, high school.. has today upset a Ukrainian child who's fled her country. Hes made bomb noises and mocked her for having a nervous tick. School have rang to inform me that he will be in isolation and she thinks my son was showing off. Hes apologied. I dont think he realises how much damage has been done! Me and his dad are so upset/mortified. Explained all that's happening in ukraine right now etc. Took his xbox and phone and now he's in his room crying. (So am i) obviously this poor girl is upset and I really don't know what to do. Can anyone help me please 😔 X

How are things now @Cccclc87? Has he shown any remorse/come up with ideas of how to make things better?

@Cccclc87 what a difficult situation for you, I am sure you are very upset…. From what you have said however it does sound like a perhaps a one off bag judgement from your son who is genuinely sorry for what he did. I think you are doing all the right things to try and put things right. Hopefully he will have learn a valuable lesson from the situation . Xx
