My youngest DD is around 20 months old, my elder DD is 5yrs. Recently it’s become very apparent that my younger DD is very possessive of me and gets very jealous every time my poor older DD is anywhere near me. My heart breaks for DD(5) as she is an absolutely doting big sister and rarely shows any jealous behaviour towards her younger sister. All she wants is a cuddle with her mum occasionally!
My younger DD is getting increasingly violent with her temper; she scratches, hits and was even kicking her sister in bed this morning. She even started on the dog just now because the dogs head was on my lap! Please please can someone offer some advice?! She’s very good at crying until she’s sick if she doesn’t get her own way and I’m very worried I’m creating a bit of a monster…!
