My son is nearly 3 and all of his peers will sit and watch periods of a film (some even a whole film!) not that I want him to do this all the time but whilst cooking dinner etc it would be great as it’s just me and him! Is this normal that nothing seems to hold his attention, he won’t play on his own with his toys, I have to be involved in everything, which is great but so tiring - do things get easier? It has been like this for about a year, he is very defiant and does hit other children when on play dates never at nursery but especially his step sister who is a year older who he sees every other weekend - he can be very spiteful to her and it’s always u provoked. I don’t know what to do anymore
