.. at the moment the house is filled by the sound of 3.9 year old DS during ad breaks

Him "can I have that?"

Me: "No"

Him "can I have that?"

Me: "No"

Him: Silence (due to obvious girl's toy like Barbie's shopping mall .. WTF?? )

Him "can I have that?"

Me: "No"

Him "oh you always say that.."

Me: "so stop asking You can't have anything from the TV"

It's actually quite amusing now .. his demanding voice is trailing off into an exceptionally cute plaintively quiet request

Will it work???

I just say 'yeah alright then'....or 'one day'
then he forgets about it , and never gets it anyway. Works so far.
