My dd has always loved the little awards they get at school like star of the week. They do a headteachers award and they have golden table on a Friday. My youngest has had a headteachers award and has been selected for golden table but my oldest hasn't and she's obsessed in it. She keeps asking me why they haven't picked her when she always tries hard and is good at school. I told her its a big school and they just can't pick everyone and it doesn't mean that you aren't very good or that you're not special. What can I do to help her realise that these awards aren't the be all and end all? I feel like it's knocking her confidence. She feels like she's not good enough.
