I am doing a master’s research on this topic. We found that there are people who are experiencing difficulties in addressing others by their first names and some of the people we spoke to, reported not having said anyone’s name in many years including their partners and spouses.
We have developed a questionnaire on this condition because we believe we could facilitate further research and thereby potentially the development of therapeutic interventions.
