Hi everyone, I have a 10 year old boy, really happy and fun but he has a side of him that only I get to witness. My husband and I separated 2 years ago and my son lives with me but sees his dad in the week and at weekends, me and my ex partner get on well as friends. When he gets upset, which can be the smallest thing, eg, his sock doesn't feel right he lashes out, calls me a bad Mum, says he hates me, call me names and swears a lot and refuses to do anything, including go to school. I just don’t know what to do about it and wandered if anyone has gone through the same thing ?, is counselling the way forward. His Dad has talked to him but as he doesn't see it he really can’t relate to it. Thanks for reading 🙂
