My 6.5 mo DS has started getting this jerk in his arm where all of a sudden it shoots up (sometimes hitting him in the face), I can't decide if its intentional as it seems to annoy him- but then I don't know if he is doing it because he is annoyed. He doesn't really flap his arms like other babys either and sometimes they are in fists (not tight or thumb in). He can roll back to front but only 1 way and can't roll tummy to back. His head is still bobbly as well especially when he looks up. He isn't sitting yet, but reaches for toys n anything he can get he hands on! Not massive eye contact but engages/smiles etc when spoken too- but will not smile at strangers. (Someone commented that he is a frowner :( He does have reflux, and can be abit quiet sometimes. When on his tummy, he can push up a bit but not fully.

Thoughts? I am wondering if he might have a bit of low muscle tone, but not sure what to look for...

I’m not too sure but if his head is still a bit wobbly by now then I’d definitely mention all of this to his health visitor. The arm thing doesn’t quite seem right either. He’s probably fine, but maybe he’s behind on a few things and the rolling because he’s avoided tummy time due to the reflux. I’m sure the HV will be able to help x
